- The Chicken price in Week 4 was at 8.30RMB/KG, with m-o-m growth rate of 4%, and y-o-y decrease rate 3.2%. Main reason of price increasing due to the approaching of Chinese New Year.
- Although the quantity of living chicken has increased to normal level, the chicken size are rather smaller due the shorter feeding period caused by disease. So it is predictable that the price of chicken will not increase but stay stable afterwards.
- For week 4, the revenue for raise one chicken was at 2.0RMB; Chick price was at 1.83 RMB/Animal, with m-o-m decrease rate of 24.4%, and y-o-y decrease rate the 28.3%. Due the stable supply and steady price for chicken, the chick price is predicted to be keep decreasing after Chinese New Year.
- The price for chicken mid joint wings in China market increased rapidly from week 3 to week 4 from 33.3 RMB/KG to 36.1 RMB/KG, increased by 8.4%. However, after people have prepared enough stock, the price may drop next week or the week after.
- The price for chicken whole wings in China market increased to 20.70RMB/KG in week 4.
- Price of chicken paws(big) increased dramatically from week 2 to week 4, 27RMB/KG to 28.70RMB/KG, increased by 6.30%, because of the huge lack of big size chicken paws in China.
- Price of Chicken paws(small) also increased slightly from 22.10RMB/KG to 22.8RMB/KG, increased by 3.2%.
- Price of Chicken paws(middle) remains stable at 23.2RMB/KG in recent weeks because of the huge imported volume of middle size paws from Brazil.
